Toba Marine Technology exclusively partners with Electronics International Inc. for the supply of our fuel flow sensors. Extensive testing finds that the FT range of sensors produced by Electronics International Inc. are very well suited to our marine applications. These turbine fuel flow sensors are manufactured for the aviation industry to the highest quality. Each sensor is individually laboratory tested and certified for its ‘K-Factor’ which allows for very accurate calibration when using them in conjunction with the Toba MEMU-7i and ix models. Therefore, any subtle differences from sensor to sensor are identified and reflected in the subjective calibration of the sensor, delivering higher accuracies.
Generally, diesel engine application requires two sensors per engine, and one per engine for petrol (gasoline) engines.
The choice of sensor is dictated by the vessel's propulsion and fuel demands.
