toba digital boat gauges unit

Digital boat gauges in a sleek watertight touchscreen

to replace your existing standard boat gauge set.

Designed and developed in Perth, Western Australia, our new MEMU-7 (Main Engine Monitoring Unit) takes a smarter approach to monitoring a boat’s engines and systems and avoids the hassle in most cases of fitting new matching sensors. It is designed to seamlessly integrate with your existing system and wiring without expensive modifications.

The MEMU-7 is a clean, robust digital approach to an analogue boat gauge set.

It is smarter than the analogue choice by allowing universal configuration and offering both visual and audible alarming for your critical engine sensors. The 7-inch touchscreen is a more modern and familiar way to access your boat's systems both day and night, and it offers an expansion and enhancement to your current monitoring capabilities.

Perhaps it's time to upgrade your boat's helm.

Just because your boat isn't brand new doesn't mean that the helm can't be sleek, modern and innovative.

YOUR HELM.
SMARTER.

Each unit monitors one engine, has inbuilt GPS speed and three additional gauges which are all entirely configurable by you, the skipper, so you can have them read precisely how you like it.
No longer is the helm a "one size fits all".

With an inbuilt WIFI chip, this digital gauge unit allows you to continually upgrade firmware into the future continually adding value and enhancing the experience as we release firmware updates.

The MEMU-7 unit doesn't require NMEA

Become the first of many boat owners worldwide to enhance your cruising and safety on the water, confidence in your boat's performance, and overall peace of mind with the Toba MEMU-7 digital 10-in-1 boating gauges unit.

The Main Engine Monitoring unit covers all the essential marine gauges on your helm, plus offers 3 additional digital gauges to assign and configure as you require.

HOW IT WORKS: boating gauges  tech talk

We have noticed that often where analogue gauges fail, it is not the sensor or the wiring, it is the gauge itself that has been infiltrated by water, is sun damaged or the like.

The digital boating gauges module MEMU-7 operates as follows:

The unit uses existing single and two-wire standard sensors in your engines and tanks

to read the same varied resistance you currently use, digitizes and displays that signal.

To do this, each gauge is configured to its sensor. The gauge itself is configured to how you prefer to read it. To make this easier, the unit reads the sensor's resistance in the config page.

Alarm limits are then set for those gauges you wish to either have low warnings or high warnings so when something goes wrong, you’ll know all about it, long before engine damage occurs.
